AI TALENTUM presents the BACSI AF-5.12 Artificial Intelligence-based prototype at the Alcantarilla air base (Murcia)

AI TALENTUM today, Thursday 6th November, presented the official prototype of the Intelligent Virtual Assistant BACSI AF-5.12 at the Alcantarilla Air Base. This tool has been developed within the framework of the Connected, Sustainable and Intelligent Air Base (BACSI) project of the Spanish Air and Space Force. The system aims to enhance Occupational Risk Prevention (ORP) processes through the application of artificial intelligence to knowledge management and the resolution of operational queries.

The presentation was attended by members of the AI TALENTUM team involved in the development of the solution: Chief Executive Officer Antonio Vicente, Head of Innovation Germán Caravaca, and Data Science Technician José Javier Lucena, who offered a live demonstration of the assistant’s capabilities in a real operational environment. The demonstration was conducted before personnel from the Air and Space Force, led by Colonel José Ignacio Sánchez-Heredero, Commander of the Alcantarilla Air Base, accompanied by Captain Marcos PeraitaSergeant Damián Serrano, and Corporal Juan Solano, who were able to see first-hand how BACSI AF-5.12 operates and the potential it holds to support the Base’s daily activities.

BACSI AF-5.12 has been designed by AI TALENTUM to resolve common preventive queries from personnel, providing accessible and up-to-date information on key activities such as: risk assessments; preventive planning; personnel information and training; management of personal protective equipment (PPE); coordination of business activities; health surveillance; accident and incident reporting; and calculation of accident rates. The integration of this tool will reduce the workload of the Prevention Services (SP) and the Prevention Section (SEPRE), thereby increasing process efficiency and ensuring an immediate response to workers’ needs.

The official presentation of the prototype marks a decisive milestone for the project, as the assistant’s correct operation has been successfully validated. This achievement strengthens the collaboration between AI TALENTUM and the Spanish Air and Space Force, and marks the beginning of a new phase of continuous improvement and testing in real operational conditions, during which the tool will continue to evolve and adapt to the specific needs of the Alcantarilla Air Base.
